Abstract:
Engineers operate in a competitive global marketplace where engineering designs and products are increasingly integrated into worldwide networks and supply chains.  As a result, engineering students of the 21st century need to be prepared to practice engineering in a dynamic international environment and recognize their vital importance as active global citizens. The Ohio State University College of Engineering has built a multifaceted approach to infuse its curriculum with content targeted at developing key global competencies necessary for its graduates to engage, define, and advance a global engineering profession.
